The subjec matter of this diploma thesis is designing a material flow logic of an automated storage and retrieval system to the producion area of a plant. The logic control is visualised by a flow chart and a matrix of experiments is compiled to evaluate the AS/RS functionality. Experiments are performed with a simulation model created in the Siemens Plant Simulation software
